Legal notice

Taylor3D designs, manufactures, prints, engraves, and sells custom products, original designs, and properly licensed third-party designs. By purchasing from Taylor3D, submitting custom artwork, or using our products, you agree to the terms below.

Intellectual Property and Custom Artwork

Taylor3D only sells products and designs that we created, own, are authorized to use, or are licensed to sell.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that any image, logo, artwork, text, trademark, character, brand name, or design submitted for custom printing or engraving is either owned by the customer or that the customer has permission to use it.

By submitting artwork or design files to Taylor3D, the customer confirms that they have the legal right to reproduce, engrave, print, modify, or use that artwork for the requested product. Copyright protects original works of authorship, including artistic works, once fixed in a tangible form, and copyright owners generally hold exclusive rights to reproduce or authorize use of their work.

Taylor3D may refuse any custom order that appears to involve copyrighted, trademarked, licensed, stolen, restricted, offensive, or unauthorized material. Taylor3D is not responsible for claims, damages, disputes, or legal issues arising from customer-submitted artwork or files.

Customer-Submitted Files

Customers are responsible for the quality, accuracy, resolution, dimensions, spelling, and content of submitted files. Taylor3D may make adjustments for production purposes, including sizing, cleanup, contrast, formatting, or file conversion, but we are not responsible for errors in customer-provided artwork once approved.

For custom work, proofs or previews may be provided when applicable. Once a customer approves a proof, Taylor3D is not responsible for design changes, spelling errors, layout issues, or artwork choices that were visible in the approved version.

3D Printed Product Notice

3D printed products are made layer by layer. Minor layer lines, small surface variations, seam marks, color variation, support marks, or slight differences between items are normal and are not considered defects.

Because many Taylor3D products are made to order, actual appearance may vary slightly from photos, especially when different materials, colors, or finishes are selected.

3D printed items may soften, deform, crack, fade, or become damaged if exposed to excessive heat, sunlight, moisture, chemicals, force, impact, or improper use. Unless specifically stated otherwise, Taylor3D products are intended for decorative, display, hobby, organizational, or light-duty use only.

Laser Engraved Product Notice

Laser engraving results may vary depending on material type, coating, texture, grain, color, hardness, reflectivity, and surface condition. Natural materials such as wood, stone, slate, leather, and cork may have variations that affect engraving darkness, contrast, and detail.

Taylor3D will make reasonable efforts to produce high-quality results, but exact color, depth, shade, or contrast cannot be guaranteed on every material.

Electronics, LED, and Lighted Products

Some Taylor3D products may include third-party electronic components such as LED lights, USB cables, remotes, batteries, switches, or lighting kits. These components are manufactured by third parties and are included as part of the finished product or kit.

Taylor3D is not responsible for third-party component defects, battery failure, remote failure, cable damage, power supply issues, overheating caused by improper use, misuse, unauthorized modification, or use with incompatible chargers, adapters, power banks, outlets, or devices.

Products containing LEDs or electronics should be used only as intended, kept away from water unless specifically stated otherwise, and should not be left unattended for extended periods. Customers should inspect all electronic components before use and discontinue use immediately if any part appears damaged, overheated, frayed, loose, or unsafe.

Taylor3D does not manufacture the third-party LED components and cannot guarantee their long-term performance beyond the applicable return or replacement terms.

Safety and Use

Taylor3D products are not toys unless specifically labeled as toys. Products may contain small parts, sharp points, magnets, electronics, cords, batteries, or fragile components. Keep away from young children and pets unless the item is specifically designed for that use.

Taylor3D products are not intended for food contact, medical use, life-safety use, automotive safety use, load-bearing use, or any use where failure could cause injury, property damage, or loss, unless expressly stated in writing.

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission provides business resources for companies that manufacture, import, or sell consumer products, and companies may have reporting duties if they obtain information about a potential substantial product hazard.

Made, Designed, or Assembled Claims

Taylor3D products may include a combination of Taylor3D-designed parts, 3D printed parts, laser engraved parts, licensed design files, customer-provided files, and third-party components.

When we describe an item as designed, printed, engraved, made, or assembled by Taylor3D, that refers to the work performed by Taylor3D unless otherwise stated. Third-party components, such as LED kits, hardware, magnets, cables, electronics, fasteners, or packaging materials, may be sourced from outside suppliers.

Licensed and Third-Party Designs

Some products may be based on designs licensed from independent designers, marketplaces, or authorized sources. When applicable, Taylor3D sells these products under the terms of the relevant license.

Taylor3D does not claim ownership over third-party designs, trademarks, brand names, characters, or logos unless specifically stated.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Taylor3D is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the purchase, use, misuse, modification, installation, display, storage, or handling of our products.

Taylor3D’s total liability for any product shall not exceed the purchase price paid for that product.

Right to Refuse Service

Taylor3D reserves the right to refuse, cancel, or refund any order at our discretion, including but not limited to orders involving unauthorized intellectual property, unsafe requests, restricted materials, offensive content, impossible production requirements, suspected fraud, or customer behavior that prevents reasonable completion of the order.

Updates to This Notice

Taylor3D may update this Legal Notice from time to time. The version posted on our website at the time of purchase applies to that order.
